ENVY - 17-ce1650nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an ENVY - 17-ce1650nd laptop with 16G RAM and 1TB SSD.

I have a few questions about increasing the available storage ..

a) Can I add a second SSD or a separate hard drive (I want to keep the DVD drive)?

b) If the only way to increase the storage is to replace the SSD what sort do I need?

c) Will I have to clone the SSD or can I reinstall Windows-10?

Thanks

James

You need 2 more parts

  • Hard drive rubber holder part # L52662-001

Parts are N/A from HP Parts Store

Hi Banhien,

Thanks for the response. I will investigate getting the extra parts needed for fitting the hard-drive before I try to source an SSD.

Best wishes

James
