Hi:

 

Yes, you can replace the 1 TB 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 1 TB 2.5" SSD.

 

Samsung 870, Crucial MX500, WD Blue 1 TB...

 

I think this one has the best performance for the price--equal to the Samsung 870.
