HP Laptop 15s-eq1115AU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got this laptop(HP Laptop 15s-eq1115AU), and very happy with it, except the display is not good at all. Was wondering if it is possible upgrading this standard LCD for an IPS (UWVA Ultra-Wide Viewing Angle) type? From the HP site, this is the display given for my laptop:

15.6 diagonal, FHD (1920 x 1080), micro-edge, anti-glare, 220 nits, 45% NTSC

I found the " Maintenance and Service Guide" for this Laptop 15s-Eq1115AU.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06510442

According to this document, the following two displays can be used:

  • FHD, antiglare, SVA, part number L78713-001
  • FHD, antiglare, UWVA(IPS), part number L78714-001

Can someone confirm if I can use the UWVA(IPS) , part number L78714-001, display for this laptop?
