Yes you can use the Samsung 860 M.2. Its SATA. Max transfer speed on SATA is about 550 mbps. The 970 is an NVME. Max transfer speed is something like 3200 mbps. The same M.2 slot on this laptop we are discussing can accept EITHER a SATA M.2 or an NVME M.2.
NVME usually has a 2-prong "M" key interface:
Samsung 970 Evo M.2
860 Evo
SATA M.2 SSDs tend to have a 3-prong "B + M" keyed connector.
We could go into a long-winded dissertation on the difference between NVME and SATA interface but as far as a consumer is concerned the difference is speed, speed, speed. Not all laptops M.2 slots can accept an NVME M.2; some are SATA only and in my opinion, if you have the chance you should have an NVME M.2 in any computer you are using. I could get all poetic about what a great user experience it enables.

Yes it is. Here is the Service Manual:
M.2 slot circled in red
You can install the best technology, a PCIe/NVME M.2 SSD in the slot circled in red above. Samsung Evo 970 M.2 is the industry leader and recommended. "How to" starts on p. 37 of the Manual.

Sir first of all thanks a lot for your generous and quick reply, but on the very same manual in page number 2 its given that for dual storage option only 128-GB ssd will be installed for 2-TB hdd and 250-GB can't be installed. And i'm currently having a 2-TB hdd.

Yes but understand the performance (data read speed) will be about 25% as good. Still much faster than a mechanical hard drive, however. The extra price of an NVME disk (which is not that much) is so worth it.
