my laptop has 4gb 1600 mhz ram and one empty slot (as described above).
I want to upgrade for maximun RAM supported by system.
Now I ask: What is the maximum RAM value applicable fo my hp 250 G4 i5?

You must buy DDR3L (1.35V) memory.

 

DDR3 (1.5V) memory will not work.

With the processor your notebook has, you can install a maximum of 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook.

The kind of RAM mounted by HP on the Notebook is:
SAMSUNG 4GB 1Rx8 PC3L - 12800S -11 - 13 - B4
M471B5173EB0 - YK0 1533.
Well, now I would like to know:
If I want to upgrade for maximun RAM supported by system, what's kind of RAM I must buy to upgrade: 1.5 V or 1.35 V?
