8GB DDR3L / DDR3 1600MHz (DDR3L-1600) PC3L-12800 / PC3-12800(PC3L-12800S) Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.35V/1.5V CL11 2Rx8 Dual Rank 204 Pin SODIMM Laptop Notebook PC Computer Memory RAM Module Upgrade
With a HP 15-f233wm laptop, I removed the installed 4 GB memory card and installed the above 8 GB memory card. With that, the laptop no longer displays anything after turning on the laptop power. After turning off the laptop power, I removed this 8GB card and reinstalled the 4 GB memory card. With that, the laptop powers up normally.
The very same thing happened when I did all this with another 8 GB memory card two years ago that was also advertised as being compatible with the HP15-f233wm laptop.
Could it be that the HP 15-f233wm laptop is not compatible with this 8 GB RAM even though the RAM is advertised as being compatible?

Very interesting. I know people use the following RAM and it works

Hi, @banhien
Apparently, there are more problems than you think there are when folks with that model attempt to install an 8 GB memory chip.
That is why I won't answer any questions regarding this problem.
In my opinion, even though an 8 GB memory chip should have worked, it doesn't, and that includes folks that installed the recommended Crucial model.
As a matter of fact, I can't find any posts where someone indicated it did.
I consider it an unsolvable situation.
