HP ENVY x360 - 15-cp0000na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a laptop HP ENVY x360 - 15-cp0000na which has 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD, I would like to upgrade the 128GB SSD to 1TB SSD, because the main hard drive is the SSD drive so it slows to work or near full of hard drive (SSD). So, can I upgrade it to 1TB or 512GB SSDs.

Thanks

Hi:

You should be able to do that.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 256 GB in storage capacity in the model series.

HP ENVY x360 15 Convertible PC Maintenance and Service GuideIMPORTANT! This document is intended for...

The drive capacities listed in the service manual are normally just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

I don't see any hardware, BIOS or drive controller reason why you would not be able to install a 500 GB or 1 TB NVMe SSD, but I cannot 100% guarantee a larger capacity SSD will work.
