I have a Model 4545s probook Hard drive HGST HTS HTS725050A7E630
I would like to upgrade the hard drive and ram. It only has 4 gb ram.
I want to upgrade the hard drive to 1TB SSD.
I would like to upgrade the ram to as much as it can take.
I have been looking at the Samsung 870 EVO SSD.
Is this a good choice or is their something better i should use?
I would like suggestions on ram please.
After I upgrade the hard drive and the ram I will be upgrading the operating system.
Would this ram work?
Also is the Samsung 870the one you would use or is their something better?
Thank you

Hi @dhgasman
Yes, you can replace the HDD with an SSD of the size and brand you want. The memory is also compatible

8 GB of ram maximum, the SSD is a good brand, Crucial, ADATA etc. ... in fact almost all are the same, buy the one that gives you the best guarantee.
