@SWCCC1

It runs M.2 SATA now, most likely it supports M.2 SATA SSD.

Regards.

Please, if you're going to take time out of your evening to respond to posts at least read them. my 0 drive is a SATA M.2 2280. My question was "Can I upgrade to NVME M.2 2280?"

THANK YOU SO MUCH, I BOUGHT THIS OFF NEWEGG BECAUSE IT CLAIMED TO HAVE 512 GB NVME WHEN IT ARRIVED I DISCOVERED IT WAS A SATA 2280. WHEN I CONFRONTED THEM THEY FIRST SAID I WAS MISSTAKEN, THEN CLAIMED IT WOULDN'T SUPPORT NVME IN IT'S CONFIGURATION. AFTER 3.5 HOURS AND 4 DIFFERENT TECHS I GAVE THEM AN OPTION, EITHER REFUND THE DEVICE + SHIPPING OR CREDIT MY CARD THE COST OF A NVME M.2 3D NAND GEN 3 2280. THEY'RE SHIPPING ME A Samsung 970 EVO SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe SSD V-NAND, STILL, I THINK I'LL STICK WITH AMAZON IN THE FUTURE
