HI 

I want to upgrade from SATA HDD to SSD and currently i have 1 TB hard drive in it.

Which solid state drive is compatible with my laptop and Can i keep both HHD and SSD ?

Odds are your laptop has a slot for an M.2 "gumstick" disk but not 100% certain without identification of specific model.

Yes there is an M.2 slot and dual storage is possible:

 

Manual 

 

Start on p. 27 to remove back cover and inside you see this:

 

M.2 drive slot is under cover at point of red arrowM.2 drive slot is under cover at point of red arrow
