Upgrade internal SSD to 2TB possible?

HP Recommended
Spectre 13-3080ez
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

I would like to upgrade my internal SSD.

HP's Maintenance and Service Guide specifies that SSDs up to 512GB are supported,  but since the document was last edited in 2013 when larger SSDs might not have been standard yet, I am hoping that my ultrabook could also handle a 1 or 2TB SSD.

Does anyone have any experience with this kind of upgrade? Thank you!

@koala1190

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to upgrade the SSD on the computer to 1 or 2 TB.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

The BIOS needs to support 1 or 2 TB SSD on the computer. You can go ahead and try it at your own risk however, it is not tested by HP on the computer.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
