Product: ZBook 17 G6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello everyone,
I would like to expand my laptop HP ZBook 17 G6 (Win 10 pro) with an internal SSD M.2 NVMe storage with a bar with 2TB. In total, the laptop offers 3 of these slots, one is occupied with a bar with operating system (512 GB), 2 are free. I now want to occupy the 2nd slot with a Crucial (e.g. P5 or p5 Plus series) or Samsung pro 980 bolt.
Questions: What do I need to consider when buying besides compatibility? I assume that I have to assign a drive letter after mounting the bar to address the memory. Is there anything else to set (BIOS, driver....)?
Thanks in advance for helpful messages.
Greetings
