Product: HP Laptop 15-db0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade the memory RAM (currently 4G) for my HP Laptop 15-db0xxx , product number 7NM94UA#ABA (processor AMD A4-9125) What is the correct memory module? Should I be able to do this myself, rather than using a service technician? I have upgraded memory on laptops many times in the past. Do I just pull off the cover on the bottom of the laptop to access the memory?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info, and chapter 6, has the memory removal and replacement procedure.

Notebooks with the A4 processors have one memory slot and the max memory in the slot is 8 GB.
