Product: Pavilion dv6-6170 tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, is it possible to upgrade my Graphic Cards which is AMD Radeon HD 6490M on pavilion dv6-6170 tx to a newer version of Graphic Cards? 

The system operates with 2 GPU, whichis Intel HD Graphic 3000 and AMD Graphic HD 6490M.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, To get the answer to this question, the graphic card on this computer is soldered and integrated onto the motherboard. 

And the only way to upgrade the graphic card would be to replace the complete motherboard which might cost more than graphic card.
