Hello,
I have the following HP laptop : HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq103dx
It comes with 12GB DDR4 Ram and 1TB HDD.
I wish to upgrade it to 24GB Ram and 512GB SSD.
I checked the manual, it says it has 1x4GB and 1x8GB RAM. I will replace the 4GB Ram with 16GB of Ram. But I could not find the proper specifications for it.
I am planning to Buy this Ram : Crucial 16GB Ram & Samsung 850 512GB SSD
Can anyone please tell me, if I can install both of these components in my laptop?
Thanks

If you have seen the Manual note that it says this:
Support for up to 16-GB maximum system memory 16384-MB: (8192-MB × 2)
So, officially, it will not work with a 16 gig module. On DDR4 systems with 6th and 7th gen Intel Core processors such as yours it is widely reported however that 16 gig modules do work and the laptop will run up to 32 gigs total RAM. However, I cannot guarantee anything beyond what the manual specifies.
The Samsung 850 Evo is an excellent SSD and yes, you can replace your existing 1 TB 7200 rpm hard drive with it.
See p. 30 of the Manual for "how to":

Thank You Huffer.
I saw that note, what i thought with that note is that16GB per module. So 32 in all.
i will buy the 16GB Crucial Ram and if 24Gb does not work then I will remove all Rams and keep only 16GB stick.
But will the link of the Ram I gave will work? Won't there be any compatability issues?

Compatibility will not be a problem from the type of RAM....it will be because the system can't work with any 16 gig module. So you are not going to be able to assume a 16 gig module of any kind will work. Its a gamble and a risk.

I FInally managed to install new SSD and RAM. Wanted to let other people know of my experience. Its pretty simple.
And yes, you can install RAM more than 16GB as mentioned in their Manual.
I upgraded to the following :
RAM : 24GB (16Gbx1 and 8GB x1)
SSD : 1TB Samsung.
Thanks
