Speccy tells me my motherboard is hp 184b
Two things I'd like to do is upgrade the ram, and the OS to win10.
How much ram will this take..>> 16gb would be nice, but even 8gb would double my ram.
Will this run win10 ltsc 2019 properly..??
Thoughts and/or advice....??
Thanks.

We would need the full model number to give good advice so we can determine the hardware you have. Likely 8 gigs is the maximum memory but again that depends on the specific model. I advise against laptop CPU upgrades generally but AMD A-series APUs are an exception because they are not expensive to buy (generally) and upgrading it also upgrades the video system. So you want to max the memory, max the APU and then install a Solid State Drive and that will be making it run as fast as humanly possible and will not cost as much as a new laptop. Whether Windows 10 will work OK also depends on the specific model.

Oh excellent. Allowed me to find the model number that led me to the product page and much info there. I'll be reading and downloading some updates etc.
Once I'm done, I may be back.
Thanks kindly for your help...
