Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Question is can I upgrade proccessor? if yes, what kind of?

spec:

  1. Name: HP pavilion dv6
  2. Model: Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
  3. Proccessor: AMD A8-3510MX( 4 cores ) APU with Radeon HD Graphi ~ 1.8GHz(Turbo ~2.5GHz)
  4. Memory:
    1. Ram: DDR3 4GB
    2. HDD: 512 GB
  5. OS: Windows 10 Pro x64

Also I did upgrade RAM and main memory:

Ram: 8 Gb

SSD: 256 Gb.

Before upgrade, laptop worked too slow and it's proccessor clock speed couldn't increase at 1.8 GHz. Thanks to  SSD+Ram upgrade, now laptop works good, but it's clock speed always stably 2.1-2.5GHz))) I am afraid that proccessor may broke if it will work  like Turbo max mode anytime(maybe I'm wrong).

(As an upgrade/custom enthusiast I personally love the idea of upgrading the device as well, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed below are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion).

Thank you for reply, I appreciate. By the way, it seems that in this case, buy new HP(😍 ) laptop with more performance will be better solution. Because that listed processors are almost the same with my proccessor.

@Niza Absolutely, a better solution indeed, besides upgrading the old device may be rather expensive at times as the parts aren't readily available, since most of them aren't manufactured anymore,

That said, I'm glad I could be of assistance and I hope you have an awesome day, ahead.
