Elitebook Folio 1040 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My notobook only have 4 Gb soldered on the motherboard. On the motherboard there is also a socket for a second sodim type memory. Productspecification says that the type of memory must be a DDR3L. At the place of the socket there is a sign that tell me that I must use 1-sided memory otherwise I will destroy the system. I bought a 2 Gb 1-sided DDR3L memory block but that will not fit. It is not possible to clip the memory wright in it's positition. Me and the experts from the computerstore find it very strange and never see something like this before. Is there anybody in the community that have a answer and perhaps a solution?

Memory configuration is selected when the computer is ordered and is not upgradeable.
