HP Pavilion Power 15-cb028nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I would upgrade ram on my HP Pavilion Power 15-cb028nl;

I 'm not an expert, can you tell me the exact technical specifications of the ram module (from 4gb) that I should install?

Since it was delivered with 8 GB the upgrade won't be cheap.

The spec is 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM , but make certain that you replace the memory in guaranteed compatible pairs, unless you can find a memory module absolutely identical to the one it was delivered with.

If Crucial tells you it is compatible, it is compatible.

I already explained that the only RAM that is compatible with the already installed RAM is an absolutely identical stick of RAM.

I thought that should have been a crystal clear explanation.

Feel free to buy and try others if you don't mind the possible hassle, waste of time and money coupled with the frustration of it not being recognized and not booting to Windows.

My objective is to help you with a painless, install it once and have it work as expected the first time, upgrade.
