Hello,
I want to upgrade the SSD disk of my notebook/tablet. The one that came with it was Micron SSD sata 3 m2 128gb. Can I upgrade to any m2 ssd sata 3? Or I have to be restricted to the model that came originally?
Thanks

Hi,
You can upgrade to a larger capacity M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860evo. You can have higher capacity than 256GB such as 1TB or more.
Example:
Basically you need to remove the back cover which you can see on age 39 of manual, disconnect battery and replace the drive.

You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD eitherbyusing HP recovery disks, migrating an image or by downloading the media creation tool from Microsoft (before replacing drive), running and creating a bootable pendrive with the OS on it. You can then use the pendrive to perform a clean install of Windows 10 on the PC. No product key needed, Windows will automatically activate once installed and connected to internet.

Hope it helps,
