Good morning:

The 14s-fq0xxx models that come with 64 GB eMMC flash storage drives do not support M.2 NVMe SSDs in the M.2 slot.

They only support SATA M.2 SSD's and you cannot use the M.2 SATA SSD as a boot drive, only for storage.

So, if you want extra internal storage, you will need to buy a SATA drive like this:  It also comes in a 1 TB storage capacity.

WD Blue SA510, 500 GB, M.2 SATA SSD, fino a 560 MB/s, Include Acronis True Image per Western Digital...

Since you can't use the M.2 SSD as a boot drive, you may want to consider not investing any money in this project.

You may be able to experiment with a software bootloader such as Clover to use the drive as a boot drive.

There are videos for how to use the Clover bootloader software such as this one:

How to install clover bootloader in Windows 11

He has the link to the software download in the notes.

You're very welcome.

The notebooks with the 64 GB eMMC drives only support SATA SSDs, not NVMe.

If you do a search on the forum you will find several discussions where folks have installed NVMe SSDs in the 14-fq model series with that configuration   and not one person ever got one to work.

But a M.2 SATA SSD works with no problem as an extra storage drive.
