HP Pavilion x360 m3 convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to increase my processing speed (currently Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz) and potentially increase my ram (8192 MB) .

My question is, is there a system board I could get that would fit my computer to increase my processor speed and potentially the ram?  I have changed a system board before due to failure but not to upgrade my system.

What is your HP Pavilion x360 m3 convertible ? No, you do not have option to upgrade to a different CPU. You have to buy a new system board which includes CPU/Processor for your machine (if available).

Again, what is your HP Pavilion x360 m3 convertible machine we can find a list of available system boards for you. Please note: A system board contains

  • Motherboard,
  • CPU and iGPU,
  • GPU (if available),
  • RAM (not all machines),
  • Windows license.

All of them are on a piece of hardware called system board.

Regards.

Is that enough information to see what system board is in my laptop?
