I wonder if you can assist me.

I have a HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC 15-ec1006na, and wondering if I can upgrade the screen to a 144hz screen instead of the 60hz screen?

I know that I can use an external monitor at 144Hz, but would be nice if I can have the main screen the same resolution for when I am travelling, and cannot take the monitor.

Many thanks,

Andy

That is not a viable upgrade option.

A display that is higher resolution than the one the laptop was delivered with would have a different connector that would not connect to the display header on the laptop's system board.

Many thanks, just that I saw that a later version of this laptop came with the screen I require.

Not giving up hope though... 😉
