I want to upgrade my SSD from 512GB to 1TB. The manual says I can do it with one of these - 1-TB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe, SS solid-state drive with TLC      L19503-001. I cannot find one of these exactly in the retail world- all seem to have the M.2 designation. Other capacities can be either M.2 or not - see below.

I know very little of the intricacies of SSD specs. If anybody could give me expert advice I would be most grateful.

Thank you

Firstly BOTH 512GB SSD's are M.2 NVMe SSD's. The list shows available storage options for the series. Part with prefix "L" are very hard to find but you can order from HP Online store

Many thanks for the reply.

Are you saying that the 1TB NVMe is also an M.2 ?

I think it must be but the manual does say different The service manual clearly differentiates but I accept there are lots of errors in manuals.

Thanks you
