I have HP Pavilion 15-au003tx, and it has become very slow.

I want to upgrade 1TB HDD to 500GB SSD, and RAM from 8GB to 16GB.

Is this model compatible for such upgrades?

Will I be able to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 after upgrading RAM and SSD? Currently, it says hardware not compatible.

@XpVista,

 According to your service manual (on pages 1-2), your model supports 16 (2x8) GB DDR4-2133.

You should be able to add an 8 GB DDR4-2400 memory to the empty slot.

Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM | CT8G4SFS824A | Crucial.com

If you want to install a 500 GB SSD, you can get a 2.5" SATA3 SSD, something like this.

Amazon.com: Crucial BX500 500GB SATA LLL 2.5" SSD : Electronics

The W11 processor requirement is Intel Core 8th gen and higher. Your processor is an Intel Core 6th gen, so even after those upgrades, your device still doesn't meet the hardware requirements, but the upgrades should provide a noticeable performance gain.
