I think I already have the cable, I bought it for the clone part of the change. I think I'll buy a case to put the HDD in that will make it useable as an external drive. In case I ever need one. Mayhaps as a backup. Thanks again Paul, you've been a lot of help.

In my humble opinion I did not think that notebooks were upgradeable.
