HP Pavilion - 14-ce0013ni
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion - 14-ce0013ni with HDD 1TB. As i am doing a lot of research work, it frustrates me that the computer freezes at times and very slow starting up in the beginning of each day.

I am considering upgrading to an SSD harddrive, hoping it will help and save me buying a new laptop.

Which are the recommended compatible SSD harddrives for this model (HP Pavilion - 14-ce0013ni)? I have tried look online but the results are not convincing.

Thank you!

The specs of your machine is

Since you are saying "I am doing a lot of research works". I don't know which area but with Intel® Core™ i3-8130U (2.2 GHz base frequency, up to 4 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 4 MB cache, 2 cores) CPU it can't handle many calculation and/or sampling tasks. You need a better CPU which is NOT replaceable on your machine.

If you wish to upgrade HDD to 2.5" SSD, there are many brands and models around. In theory you can use any brand but please stick with Samsung 860 EVO,  Crucial MX500, SanDisk (or Western Digital) ... For example
