Hello!
I have HP Pavillion dv6002er. Broadcom BCM4313 802.11bgn Wireless Network Adapter is installed now.
I want to upgrade wifi adapter to support 802.11 ac standart. As i know, there is a "whitelist" for network adapters in the notebook's BIOS.
Question: where i can find information on what adapter will work? Maybe you can tell some concrete models. If there is no one supported model, can you tell how to edit or where to download BIOS to support a new adapter?
Thanks!

I have gone through your Post and would like to help
You can refer to page 3 - 4 in the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02657339 for a list of Compatible tested WLan Cards
HP Consumer Pc’s uses a customized BIOS setting (Tattooed BIOS) of which some features including overclocking, increasing the VRAM are locked etc. So you cannot edit or make changes in the BIOS other than what is already allowed
Thank you
