Hi:

Yes, your PC has a M.2 slot for a SSD, but it has to have the SATA 3 interface, not NVMe.

See chapter 1 of the service manual which shows the M.2 SSD specs...

Hi,

Some extra info.

The service manual mentions M2 slot with support for M2 SATA3 SSD such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo, M2 Crucial MX500 or something similar.

Example:

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-860-SATA-Internal-MZ-N6E1T0BW/dp/B07822Z77M/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=m2+86...

You can get of your desired capacity (no limit). You will need to reinstall the OS or move it to the SSD for the great gain in everyday performance.

You should also check if the actual slot is present on the motherboard as sometimes it is missing in notebooks which did not come with M2 SSD.

On page 41 of service manual you can see how to remove the bottom cover to take a look.

M2 SSDM2 SSD

While you are in there, you could add another 4GB module of RAM  (for a total of 8GB) which would also give a further boost to performance.

Hope it helps,

David
