I recently purchased a HP 15.6" Touch Screen Laptop with the Intel Core i7 with 16GB of ram and 512 GB SSD
. Question 1), Is there a way to add a HD for extra storage without touching the SSD already in place ? Question 2) Is it possible to upgrade the Ram size from 16 to anything larger ? Thank You !

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Your HP Laptop 15-dy2073dx (3Y058UA), as confirmed here: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-dy2073dx#ssd, and here: https://www.memorystock.com/memory/HewlettPackard15dy2073dx.html, can be fitted with up to 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks.
And no, there is no possibility to add an additional internal drive, only option is to use a portable/external SSD (SSK 1TB) drive, such as seen here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/48723722.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
