Hey all,

 

I'm looking to upgrade the ram on my HP pavilion 17-e155nr touchsmart notebook that I really only use to play one game and sometimes do some stuff for work on it. While playing the game it's really slow and sometimes even crashes. I've optimized it and have cleaned up the memory to the best of my ability. I'm wondering if I get a 8gb or even 2- 4gb ram cards if that'll help it run faster and smoother. Also was thinking what brand would work the best. Thank you in advance

Your notebook comes with two memory slots and a 4GB DDR3L-1600 memory.

HP PartSurfer

 

If you want to upgrade RAM to 8 GB, you can install another4 GB DDR3L-1600 module in an empty second slot.

You can get something like this.
