Can anyone help me out with possible upgrades for the processor for this laptop? This laptop was built from hp with 8gb Ram.

Is it worth upgrading the processor vs buying a new pc/laptop?

Im hoping this fixes the issue of my fan running almost non-stop until my laptop shuts itself down. I have been thru every support and every "solution" hp could provide, they have changed my bios and even changed the entire fan out when I was under warranty. Nothing stops the fan from running on high almost non-stop.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the performance,  as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate. however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
