Is there any way to upgrade the RAM and SSD in the model mentioned above?

I'm unable to find the service manual and need to know if the stuff is soldered in or something?

I'm looking at this thing on bestbuy and am timebound to make the purchase, hence no time for customization

The next model with the SSD and RAM upgrades costs 1450$ FYI

Memory is onboard so not upgradeable at all. Uses a 256 gig NVME M.2 SSD which you could replace with a higher capacity model. With the cloud and such these days 256 gigs is very workable and you already have an NVME; the fastest kind of storage there is.

Can you get me the full product/model number please? For example, 13-XXXXXX or 15-XXXXXX

Thank you for your reply..Sad that HP solders the RAM chip, an upgrade option is always good to have

Upgradeability is way down the list on design priorities. With soldered on memory and CPU the laptop can be made a little thinner and that is what the public wants to buy. Not just HP who does this by the way.
