Hello, I am wondering if I can upgrade my AMD A10-5745M APU processor to any newer APU processors such as the 7th Gen A10-9630P APU or any others listed here if I don't have to stick with the A10 series. Also Im not sure how to figure out which one is best for what I'd like? Im fine not having top of the line graphics Id just like to be able to play newer 3d games on medium settings at a decent fps. Ive found stuff like this video of someone upgrading from an A8 to A10 and this help thread on the AMD forums of someone else doing the same. Also In that thread theyre talking about the bios version I guess (trinity/richland). Hp support assistant lists my bios as F.20 (most recent bios driver update from 2016) so idk if thats relevant.
Thank you

What EXACTLY is your HP Pavilion TS 15 Notebook PC ? Normally for APU processor, you can't simply upgrade CPU alone. You have to pay for new system board which has
(a) Motherboard,
(b) CPU / Processor
(c) GPU if available
(d) New Windows license (you can't reuse old license)
Because all 4 (or 3) above components are on one piece of hardware called system board.
