I am wanting to upgrade my windows 10 laptop to windows 11 and I need to upgrade the CPU. The CPU I have now is not compatible with windows 11, I do not know how to find out what CPUs will be compatible with my HP 8221 baseboard (motherboard) I do not want to buy a CPU that will not fit the motherboard . Please someone help me figure out how to find out what CPUs I can buy to install that will be compatible with my motherboard it is an Hp 8221 motherboard on an Hp notebook 17-012cy . Please help me find out what CPU upgrades are compatible with my motherboard. I will take any suggestions.

The processor is soldered to the motherboard, it cannot be upgraded, you can force install windows 11, but I generally I not recommend it due to lack of driver support for the laptop model.
