I have a Zbook Firefly G8 and it came with the worst display option possible (M35843-001) a FHD 250 nits nontouch panel and I have noticed that the outdoor max brightness it's not enough.
Knowing that the best option for an upgrade is a 400 nits FHD non-touch panel (M35844-001) due to the compatibility of the 30 pin connector.
Could this lead to incompatibility problems (loss of brightness control)?
The other option, which I really want, is to upgrade to the 4k UHD 400 nits non-touch panel (M35842-001), but the display comes with a 40-pin connector, so that shouldn't be possible. But I started looking in the laptop's illustrated parts catalogue and found that there's only one option for the display cable (M05513-001).
So I guess it might be compatible? as there are no other options available for the display cable.
I also searched for the display cable (M05513-001) on the HP Parts Store and there is a list of product names and numbers that use this part (therefore compatible displays) and some UHD 400 nits panels appear on the list.
