Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

What a nice laptop but I wanted to upgrade the 8GB of RAM to maybe 32GB so I opened the machine and I could not find where the 8GB RAM module is located.  Is the RAM integrated on the motherboard and the machine cannot upgrade the RAM?  I see the m.2 drive so I can upgraded that from 256gb to maybe 2TB or so... but what about that system RAM upgrade..

It is a new HP 15-fc0037wm model laptop.

Hi:

If you look at chapter 1 of the service manual, it indicates that notebooks with the AMD 7520U, 7320U, 7220U, 7120U processors come with onboard memory.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

'Onboard' means that the memory is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

That is why you can't find a removable memory chip.
