HP EliteBook 735 G5 Notebook PC

Hello all,

i have recently gotten myself a HP EliteBook 735 G5 Notebook PC laptop and have run into a small issue.

i have tried to add a second m.2 ssd into the 2242 m.2 slot on the motherboard and it has not showed up, i even checked bios and i could not find it. it is a know and working ssd. it is a 512GB kingspec sata ssd.

does this slot not work for adding more storage? does it not work with sata m.2 ssd? is there a limit for how much storage the slot can take and have i exceeded it? any insight would be greatly appreciated!

please forgive me for not knowing i am not the best at working on computers, let alone laptops.

Its manual

Which does NOT say it has additional M.2 slot for storage. Are you sure you installed to the right slot ?

Regards.
