Trying to figure out the best wifi card to upgrade my laptop with. I would like something that is Wifi 6/E compatible, if possible. Would the Intel AX210 be compatible with my laptop? Is there another, possibly better wifi card option to upgrade to? Thanks in advance

Hi:

I don't know of anyone who has upgraded the wifi card in that model series.

The Intel AX210 is not listed as a supported wifi card in chapter 3 of the service manual.

Thank you for the information.

Is there a Wifi 6 supported card that is listed as being compatible with my setup? Ill probably experiment with the AX210 you recommended, but I thought I would ask about possible other options that are listed as compatible

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, there isn't.

The Wifi 6 card you would want to experiment with is this one...

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005.

You can find this card on eBay, and it is considerably less expensive than the AX 210.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

i think OP wants to install the newer wifi 6e card to go in the same M.2 slot  where current AX201 wiFi 6 card is and im pretty sure as long as it's an M.2 it should work ?

but i  definitely wanna get multiple confirmations before i go ordering the AX210 or AX211 for 33 bucks lol.

OH WAIT, OKAY, i understand now i think. i think i got confused a bit. sorry,

So the AX210 will most likely work then?  im not doing anything to experiment lol

im doing because i just received the new XB8 6e gateway to "try" from xfinity as part of their rewards program.

It's already so blazing fast over wiFi in that i don't even need to be hardwired anymore. I'm pulling like 800 Mbps down as it is over wifi which is so great but  like all internet people ... I WANT MORE lol
