I am wanting to upgrade my RAM, but unsure what type of ram I should get, or what the max capacity is for my laptop. I have the HP Pavilion 16-ag0xxx model. Ryzen 7 884U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics. Any help is appreciated!

According to this HP specs, your model has the onboard memory, which means that the memory is soldered on the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unfortunately.

Basically, M2 NVMe SSDs have no capacity limit. You can replace your NVMe gen 4x4 SSD to a larger size up to 4 TB.
