I want to upgrade my 1TB Hard Drive to a SSD but I am not sure which one would fit inside the laptop or if it was even possible to upgrade. Any suggestions on which SSDs to use?

We will need the full model number to post specific upgrade instructions. Some recent models are very difficult to disassemble, but any laptop with a SATA hard drive will run a SATA SSD. The best one on the market in terms of price/performance is the Samsung Evo 850:

I believe this is the Service Manual:
This is a brand new laptop with Intel Core 7th gen processor, correct? You actually have a few different storage options including something called an M.2 NVME/PCIe disk sometimes called a "gumstick" disk. They are several times faster than a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. Please look at page 32 of the Manual and the steps leading up to it inclusing removal of the back cover. If you think this is something you want to try to do we can go forward.

I would install the M.2 disk.
512-GB, M2, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive supporting TLC 857487-001
HP sells it for $115. I just bought one to upgrade an Omen laptop HP sends me as an "evaluation/loaner" which we then donate to charity after a year.
The $115 price is fabulous as these sell for closer to $200 everywhere else and it is a first-class product.
The difficult part of the procedure is removing the back cover. Use a non-marring plastic tool.

When I search for 15t-as100 the one ending with 2AV and look at the keyword "drive", the option at the very bottom shows a 1TB SSD
911486-001 In stock
SSD 1TB PCIe NVMe TLC 2SIDE
RoHS: COMPLY_2.06
isnt this what I am looking for? That is only $130 and the one for 512 is $115.
