Basically is there an official HP service to upgrade my laptop's hard drive for me? I'm going to buy the new hard drive sometime this year. There's nothing wrong with it. Just want to have more memory. Currently I have 128 storage. I want to upgrade it to 2tb. I don't want to replace the hard drive with the new one myself. I have never done it before and nervous I might damage hard drive and/or laptop.

Not really in the USA. Service Centers just do warranty work and they will not install 3rd party hardware. This is exactly the kind of thing a decent mom and pop type computer store ought to be able to do for you or even as a very last resort Best Buy Geek Squad. I would also say DIY is not as hard as you fear. Post back if you want to discuss in detail.
