Hi y'all !
Thanks in advance for reading and answearing
I've been reading quite a few post about upgrading to SSD and RAM. All doubts solved about SSD but not yet about RAM.
Maximun amount allowed to this model is 16GB, my model by default came with 8GB (When buying it, they said it was 2133Mhz DDR4 but analizing my system now with software tools appears to be 1866Mhz, unknown memory type, manufactered by Samsung both (4GB) )
I'd like to know if this HP 15-ba113cl supports DDR4 2400Mhz or 2666Mhz, I've understood support 16GB DDR4 2133, but i'd like, if possible, to upgrade it to an 2400Mhz or 2666Mhz
Adittionally, just to get an opinion and made myself sure, this model supports a 1terabyte SSD, isn't ?

From its specs, it has 12GB of RAM (4 + 😎
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05300932
The page 2 of the manual clearly says for the whole series:
DDR4-1866 dual channel support (DDR4-2400 bridge to DDR4-2133, and DDR4-2133 downgrade to DDR4-1866)
That why you can only see 1866.
>>>> supports DDR4 2400Mhz or 2666Mhz
You may be able to install higher speed RAM but machine will only run at the lower speed with its motherboard.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.
