Hi, I would like to upgrade memory from the the standard 8Gb on my HP Envy x360 Convertible 13-ag0xxx (sku: 3ZT30EA#ABU)
I've read posts for similar models stating the dimms are non replaceable, although this seems odd.
I find the laptop great in all other respects, but its a little under-provisioned on RAM and 16Gb woudl make a big improvement I'm sure.
Any help with part no's greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs for your model.
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c06387074
It comes with 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (onboard).
Onboard means the memory is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.
Below is the link to the service manual.

Chapter 1 has the memory info.
If you look at chapter 5, page 32, there is a note...
IMPORTANT: The memory is integrated into the system board and is not removable or upgradeable.
Nowadays, the thinner and smaller the notebook, the less likely the memory is able to be upgraded.

Thank you Paul for your excellent reply. Disappointing that this isn't a straightforward upgrade, even given the relatively low cost of these laptops.
Whilst it sounds drastic, I presume if the correct 16Gb system board could be sourced for a reasonable cost then that may be a route to explore.

You're very welcome.
Chapter 3 has the list of motherboards available.
The only one that come with 16 GB of onboard memory is this one...
Ryzen 5 2500U processor and 16 GB system memory Ryzen 5 2500U processor and 16 GB system memory L19574-601.
The part is not orderable from HP. I just checked the HP parts store.
I saw a vendor in New Zealand that is selling one for over $2700 NZD.
It usually is never a financially prudent decision to try and upgrade a motherboard on a newer model PC.
I would conjecture that if HP did have it for sale it would be well over 1,000 quid.
