Upgrading Memory

I am interested in increasing my memory from 8 GB to something more, 16 or 32 GB. What is the maximum memory I can install on my HPSpectre XT TouchSmart notebook?

Hi,

Max RAM for your notebook is 12GB DDR3L 1600MHz RAM. There are 4 GB onboard and one slot. At the moment you have 4GB onboard and 4GB in the slot. So you can replace the 4GB module with a 8GB module for a total of 12GB.

I would also remove the 32GB cache drive and HDD and replace with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD of your preferred brand and capacity.
