I want to upgrade the SSD and maybe even the HDD on my Pavilion x360 Convertible 15-br095ms. When I look at the back of my laptop I don't see any compartments that open up like I have seen on other laptops I have owned. There are only 3 screws across the bottom and that is all. Are those screws what I need to remove to get in there and swap out the drives?
Thank You.

Thank you as that was very helpful. I want to ask one more question just in case I decide to do this. My laptop also has a built in 2.5 inch HDD for storage. Is it possible to swap out the storage drive for a 2.5 inch SSD? I watched a video on youtube with a person who did it with a laptop like mine but in his case his main drive was a 2.5 HDD and not a SSD. He removed the HDD and installed a 2.5 SSD and used the same cable with nothing else needed to be done.
I should be able to do that for my storage drive also?
Thank you.

You're very welcome.
You sure can. I don't know how much difference it will make in performance, since you are only using it for storage, but the SSD should run a bit cooler and use less power.

Thank you as that is a good point. I really use that drive for storage and mainly video files of guitar lessons i have compiled over the years. I could get a lot more storage for a lot less money also.
Thanks again.

Hi:
You should be able to.
I was hoping the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook would have a list of M.2 SATA SSD's you could upgrade to, but they don't list any at all.
The manual only lists M.2 SSD's up to 512 GB, but normally you can go to 2 TB with most notebooks.
