Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am wondering if I would be able to upgrade my cpu from an i5-4200m to an i5-4330m for a slight increase in preformance for low cost.(I already have the laptop apart to replace the MoBo so it would be easy for me to swap.) I can't find almost any info online about the chipset in the MoBo, and what it supports. They apear to aleast have the same socket and are both i5s however I dont know about cpu and MoBo compatibilty for laptops.

@Nick_Hoy

There is a list of CPU's supported (Intel) on page 77 of the last manual on the following link

Please select thr ight part number and update BIOS to the latest. Manual also shows you how to replace CPU.

Regards.

That is is wrong laptop model, and the CPU that came with the laptop is not even on that list. I went to the one for my laptop model, and it had a link the brought me to the same laptop repair manual. (For the wrong model).
