Hi team,

 

This is Aditya and I am using Compaq Presario CQ-40 601TU from past 7-8 years and the laptop all types of video editting,photo editting and all of that but now from past some months after upgrading my pc to the latest version of windos 10 I am not able to do my work smoothly. I am getting lag while watching videos in YOUTUBE at 1080p

I want to upgrade my ram.

Can't see the images yet but you can rely on Crucial's information for your upgrade. They ascertain 100% compatibility.

 

Anyway, according to the manual, you can have up to 8GB of DDRII PC2-6400 (800-MHz).

 

Steps to replacement are located on pages 52-53 of your computer's Maintenance and Service Guide.
