Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laptop currently has 6GB RAM. The max I can upgrade to is 16GB. The memory I need for this is DDR3L PC3L-12800 1600 MHz. However, I don't know if I need the SO-DIMM (204 pin) or SDRAM (240 pin)?

Ok, thank you. It currently has SDRAM? I had thought SDRAM was used in desktops?

SDRAM is for Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory which means the same for notebooks/laptops and desktops the PHYSICAL shapes and sizes for notebooks and desktops are not the same. Please read more info
