Hi,

 

Is anyone able to clarify/confirm if the RAM on the 14-dy0505na is upgradeable and that it is not soldered on? Also what is the max memory for this laptop?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

 

According to the manual, your notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR4 memory.

 

The memory removal and replacement procedure can be found in chapter 5.

 

There is also this service teardown video.
